About Elm City Psychiatry
Thoughtful, integrative psychiatric care for adults seeking a more personalized approach to mental health.

Meet Brad Christensen, PA-C
I’m Brad Christensen, PA-C, a psychiatric physician associate and founder of Elm City Psychiatry. I started this practice to offer a calmer, more personalized model of mental health care — one that gives enough time to understand the full picture, not just the symptoms that show up on the surface.
My approach combines evidence-based psychiatric treatment with a broader look at the factors that shape mental health, including sleep, stress, nutrition, movement, relationships, emotional patterns, meaning, and daily habits. Medication can be an important tool, but it is rarely the whole story.
A more complete approach to mental health
At Elm City Psychiatry, care is built around the idea that mental health is shaped by biology, psychology, lifestyle, the body, and a person’s sense of meaning and purpose.
Rather than focusing only on quick symptom reduction, I work with patients to understand what is contributing to their distress and what kinds of changes may support more durable improvement. Treatment may include medication management, supplements when appropriate, lifestyle strategies, therapy-informed support, and mind–body practices.

What it’s like to work together
Patients can expect appointments that are collaborative, thoughtful, and practical. We’ll talk through your concerns, review treatment options clearly, and make decisions together.
My goal is to help you feel informed and supported, while also creating a plan that is realistic for your life. Follow-up visits are used to monitor progress, adjust treatment, and continue refining the plan over time.

Collaborative
You’ll be involved in decisions about your care.
Personalized
Treatment is tailored to your symptoms, history, goals, and values.
Integrative
Medication, lifestyle, supplements, and mind–body approaches.
Who I work with
Elm City Psychiatry works with adults ages 18–65 who are seeking support for concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, burnout, stress-related symptoms, sleep difficulties, and life transitions.
Care is currently offered virtually to patients who are physically located in Utah at the time of each appointment.
Elm City Psychiatry may not be the right fit for individuals needing emergency care, intensive substance use treatment, or a higher level of support than outpatient telehealth can provide.
